student trustee
Beginning in early spring 2025, the UO Board of Trustees will welcome one additional undergraduate student trustee who will serve the University and student body as fiduciary decision-makers, and gain valuable leadership, finance, advocacy, and management experience. Each academic year, the ASUO President will review applications, conduct interviews, and nominate top finalists to the Oregon Governor for review and selection.

Timeline for search and nomination process
January 8-February 15*
ASUO Application period
Interested students contact ASUO and Board office, confirm eligibility, apply through ASUO.
FEbruary 20-28
Finalist interviews
ASUO interviews finalist candidates.
March 1
Nomination to governor
ASUO submits letter of recommendation to the governor.
