student trustee
The UO Board of Trustees is currently welcoming applications for a new undergraduate student trustee and the graduate trustee position who will serve the University and student body as fiduciary decision-makers, and gain valuable leadership, finance, advocacy, and management experience. Each academic year, the ASUO President will review applications, conduct interviews, and nominate top finalists to the Oregon Governor for review and selection.

ASUO Application Period
Interested students contact ASUO and Board office, confirm eligibility, apply through ASUO.
March 2-6, 2026
ASUO Conducts Interviews
ASUO interviews candidates for student position, jointly with GTTF for graduate position.
March 30, 2026
Recommendations to Governor
ASUO and GTFF submit letters of recommendation to the governor.
sPRING/SUMMER 2026*
Governor recommendation and Senate hearing
