An active volunteer and community contributor, Amy Tykeson serves regional and statewide non-profit organizations in Oregon and Montana. She is the managing trustee of the Tykeson Family Foundation, overseeing operations and contributions directed toward education for underserved youth, healthcare and health sciences, and access to the arts.  

A leader in the telecommunications industry for 34 years, Tykeson began her career with Home Box Office in Chicago and New York. Starting in the late 1990’s Tykeson served as President and CEO of BendBroadband, a family owned cable and broadband company operating in Central Oregon. BendBroadband has been lauded nationally for its technology leadership, community engagement, and customer service. The company was sold to Telephone Data Systems (TDS) in 2014.   

Tykeson holds a BS in Business Administration and an MBA from the Oregon Executive MBA Program.
