The Board of Trustees of the University of Oregon has unanimously approved a purchase agreement for the campus of the former Concordia University in Portland to house the groundbreaking Ballmer Institute for Children’s Behavioral Health.

The Board of Trustees unanimously selected John Karl Scholz following a search conducted by a committee comprised of trustees, students, faculty, staff, and academic and administrative leaders, as well as representatives from higher education and the external community. 

The 2023-24 academic year brings with it the second-largest class to hit the UO campuses. The average high school GPA is 3.75, also the second-highest in university history.
