Ruby Wool is the student member of the board of trustees. She is a junior and Stamps scholar in the Clark Honors College, majoring in Journalism and minoring in Global Health. Wool is Vice President of the UO Club Tennis team and plays for the UO Women’s Club Soccer team.   

An active campus and community volunteer, Wool is a sports reporter for the Daily Emerald, the UO’s independent student media organization; she works with Duck Corps, which focuses on health and wellness in the local community through hands on experience, specifically within the HIV Alliance program; and contributes service within the community-based Evoke Hope program focused on poverty alleviation and fostering hope for a better future.

Some of Wool’s other accomplishments and areas of engagement include Warsaw Sports Business Club, working with the UO-UNESCO Crossings Institute, volunteering for the Holden Center, and being a member of the Oregon Hillel and CHC Latine/x Club.
